Griff makes a quick impression

Adam Griffin, the 21-year-old midfielder who moved to Stockport on loan, didn't take long to make an impact at Edgeley Park. He scored the first goal in a 2-2 draw against Rushden and Diamonds and he scored with his first touch of the ball.

Griffin came on as substitute in a half time shuffle and had the ball in the back of the net within two minutes after heading home. New Stockport boss Jim Gannon will be hoping that Griff can repeat the feat many times as his side are fighting to avoid relegartion to the Conference.
