Goalkeeper Daniel Iversen has joined the Latics on loan from Leicester City. Iversen (21) will remain for the whole of next season and he is looking forward to being a player at Boundary Park.
He explained, “I’m really happy to come here and play some games. I want to do my best for the club, of course what is most important is the club and the team, for me. It was really good to come here and play some friendly games and meet the players, I’m very happy to be here. I can remember the stadium and the atmosphere [for Leicester City last season]. I love the old style stadiums here in England. I can’t wait for the opening day of the new season. I think it will be a very good physical battle. I am tall (6'-4”) so I need to try and come out and catch some balls inside the box.”
