John Sheridan is hoping to sign a number of targets with the transfer window now open. Disappointed at the loss of Neil Kilkenny and Ryan Bertrand, the boss is expecting to bring "three or four" new faces to Boundary Park. He is also hopeful of completing the signing of a new striker on loan soon.

Shez admitted, "I've got a couple of strikers in mind, I've enquired about them and I would take both of them right now. I'm hoping one will be sorted next week. There are a number of positions I've got to look at, especially given I've lost some experienced players through injury. The squad's depleted and I need to get some players in, but it might be good to get a bit of freshness in there as well. But I think it was a bit too much of a rush to get players in before the Cup game. We're on a decent run and will try and do as well as we can, but it's important we get players in next week."
