All of the Latics' matches have been postponed until at least the 3rd of April following a meeting by the English Football League (EFL). The EFL have made the decision to help avoid the spread of coronavirus. The decision will also affect academy fixtures. Nationally, no games will take place between clubs in the Premier League, Championship, League One and League Two although the National League is still in operation at this time. Latics boss, Dino Maamria, has already indicated that he wants the season to conclude quickly.

The Latics have released the following statement:

"Oldham Athletic supports any decision which ultimately ensures the safety of supporters, staff and players above anything else, and prevents the spread of the virus. Further information on day-to-day club business and activities, will follow in due course, following review and will include additional information regarding rescheduled dates, tickets and other match details. Once fixtures resume it is important to stress that those who wish to attend but are still showing signs of the symptoms are to stay away from the ground and self-isolate as per government protocol for a week."
