Another Argentinian arrives at Boundary Park

Athletic have taken another Argentinian on trial. 22 year old central defender Alejandro Tomas Strelau has been playing for Chacarita Juniors but due to the economic crisis in Argentina, Chacarita Juniors have requested that the Argentinian FA release him from his contract. Other players at the club are in a similar position due to non payment of wages.


Strelau is 6ft 2in and is a left sided central defender. Cristian Colusso knows him and Alejandro will arrive on Friday and will stay till the of the season with a view to a permanent deal.
