The Latics have arranged another pre-season friendly match against recently promoted Huddersfield Town.
The game will be staged at Boundary Park on Saturday 4th August and the match would not have gone ahead had the Terriers not gained promotion through the play-offs.
The club do not wish to play clubs from the same division in friendly matches.
