The Latics could be back in action as early as 6th June. The Football League chairman, Rick Parry, has announced that they are hoping to conclude the remaining fictures behind closed doors and the current lockdown period will be classed as the off season. The top six divisions in England have all been suspended indefinitely but authorities in Germany have now allowed clubs in the Bundesliga and Bundesliga Two to resume training.
This means that all clubs in England will have a three week window to conclude their remaining matches although plans may need to be amended based upon Government advice.
