Backroom team builds

Bobby Mimms has taken up a backstage role at Boundary Park as goalkeeping coach. He joined on a short term contract with a view to an extension. Lee Steele made the deal a double one as he arrived on the same day and will take the position of fitness coach, also on a short term contract.

Mimms is 49-years-old and was previously the goalkeeping coach at Wolves and Blackburn Rovers. His playing experience was mainly at Everton, Tottenham and Blackburn Rovers but he also appeared for England under-21s. Steele is 39 and was a teammate of manager Lee Johnson when he was at Brighton. Steele's playing career was gained at Shrewsbury Town, Brighton, Oxford United and Leyton Orient.
