Tommy Wright (pictured) and Lee Duxbury have both committed their long term futures to Athletic. Manager John Sheridan recently signed up for a long term relationship with Boundary Park and now assistant manager Wright and reserve team boss Duxbury have both penned three-year contracts.

Wright and Duxbury are both former players as is Sheridan, and TTA have now learned from their previous mistakes and have promoted from within the club, a move which is bearing fruit. The management team is now completed and the next priority is the playing squad.

Chris Porter, Will Haining, Richie Wellens and Stefan Stam are still pondering their Oldham futures and the management will soon be running out of patience as their contracts expire on Saturday. Alan Hardy said, "I am hoping by the end of the week the futures of the players will be sorted out. I remain optimistic, though I don't think all four of the players will be staying."
