Luke Beckett's comeback to the first team on Saturday against Bournemouth proved that the likeable striker is well and truly back in the groove.The Latics boss, Ronnie Moore commented, “At first I was in two minds about Luke playing on Saturday because he’s still in need of games. He was out injured for quite a few weeks and I thought about leaving him on the bench until the last 20 minutes. In the end we decided it was better for his recovery if he started the game and came off after an hour. But during the second half Luke said he was fine and wanted to carry on. I think he fancied getting a goal for himself.”
