Ex-Latics boss Joe Royle has taken an offer to join former Athletic winger Neil Adams at Norwich City who is now manager of the Canaries. Royle will take up the role of football consultant at the club.
Royle became a Latics legend when he managed the team from 1982-1994 and he took them to Wembley for the first time and subsequently. Adams commented, “Joe has amassed a vast amount of knowledge.”
