The Liverpool FA Cup fourth-round tie has been confirmed for Sunday 27th January at 4pm and will be shown live on ITV1 which will bring in an unexpected £135,850 broadcast fee in addition to the gate receipts.
Tickets are on sale to season ticket holders and special vouchers will be handed out to fans at the turnstiles at this Saturday's home game against Brentford. The vouchers will enable supporters to buy one ticket each for the Liverpool game in a match where Liverpool have been allocated the large section of the Rochdale Road Stand.
The club have hiked ticket prices to £25 for adults and £20 for concessions which has upset some fans but the club are naturally making the most of the situation to bring as much desperately needed cash as possible into the coffers.
