Latics legend Bob Ledger has died peacefully at the age of 77. Bob joined the Latics from Huddersfield Town in 1962 for a £6,000 fee and made 222 appearances for the club, scoring 37 goals and was an ever present in Athletic’s promotion winning side of 1962-63 scoring nine goals.
Bob also had the distinction of having played in every position, including goals, for the club. RIP Bob.
