Danny Boshell has had his scan and it has shown that there is a small tear and severe tissue damage which meant that he is expected to be in plaster for around 10 days. Boshell is hopeful of a return to training in around three weeks and hopes to be back in action in around six weeks.

Danny said, “Obviously I'm delighted that it's not as bad as first thought, I was gutted on Saturday when it happened. I tried to run it off but I felt something go and thought I'd broken it, so for it not to be that serious is great.” Boshell still has a year left on his contract and hopes to remain at Boundary Park.

In other business Stuart Balmer has signed a permanent contract with Boston United where he has recently spent two months on loan.
