Bertrand Bossu put in an impressive display in goal for the reserves win at Rochdale. Bossu is French and previously played for Hayes Athletic but is now available on a free transfer from Gillingham. Bossu is a giant keeper at 6ft. 6in. but despite his size is very agile. Athletic were suitably impressed as he pulled off several important saves in the reserves 2-1 win. Craig Mawson is on a short-term deal and manager Brian Talbot is still on the lookout for cover for Les Pogliacomi. It is only a matter of weeks ago that Mawson saved two penalties in a reserve game also in an impressive performance.
