Ryan Brooke has signed a new two-year contract which will keep him at Boundary Park until June 2012. He said of the deal, "I am delighted to have signed and will be looking to get a run in the side next season, score goals and pick up some win bonuses."
Brooke joined the Latic's centre of excellence after having scored 64 goals for Holmes Chapel Hurricanes. His goals were noticed and he was selected to play for mid-Cheshire where he was spotted by Ron Millward, Latics chief youth scout.
