Full back Connor Brown has been an ever present under caretaker manager Dean Holden and is happy with the way his career is heading.
He said, "When I get game time under my belt, I get a run of form and that's all I needed. I've got my form back and I feel like I'm playing well. The league is tight all the way up to the play off positions, and we have a game in hand so we just need to get a little run together and we'll be right back in there. Hopefully that will start on Saturday. Every game is going to be a big game now, even if we play teams at the bottom who are not in it. We have got to get three points, get our points back and believe in ourselves. These are the tough times when we have got to stick together because the squad is thin. We need to all pull together and grind out results."
"I want to stay [at Oldham]. I've always loved it since I signed here so if he offers me a contract I would be willing to sign it. I've always enjoyed it here and it's my third season now. Nothing has been spoken about yet but I'll have to see if the new manager likes me, if one comes in, or if the chairman still wants to keep me. I'll be doing my best until that time comes. There is still 12 games left and you only need to win a couple and you are right back in there so it is doable. We went ten games unbeaten last season so why can't we do that again?"
