Ex-Latics star Frankie Bunn is being rumoured to take the number two position at Boundary Park if Paul Dickov is named as manager next week.
Bunn worked with Manchester City’s youth team at the same time that Dickov was playing at Maine Road but Latics CEO Alan Hardy is still keeping tight lipped although he said, “The new manager coming in needs to assess things and a decision will be made from there.”
