Darren Byfield will remain at Boundary Park until 10th. January after the Latics and Doncaster Rovers agreed to extend his current loan spell. Byfield has appeared in four matches since coming on loan and has made some impressive performances. The former Aston Villa trainee will continue to battle for a starting place in the line up after putting in a full 90 minute shift in the 2-2 draw at Peterborough last Saturday.
