Former Aberdeen defender Richie Byrne has been offered a one month deal at Boundary park after impressing manager John Sheridan in training during a recent trial period. Byrne is 26 years old and can operate at left-back or centre-half and he left the Dons in summer.He was an unused substitute in the squad for the win against Tranmere Rovers and has been capped at 'B' team level for the Irish international team as well as experiencing UEFA Cup football with Aberdeen.
