Jake Cassidy has had his contract cancelled to allow him to find a new club. The former Wolves striker signed a deal last year after a loan spell at Tranmere Rovers.
His Boundary Park career started well enough but injury kept him out of the squad. He made a total of 23 appearances for the Latics without scoring.
