Changes planned

Boss John Sheridan is planning big changes for the visit of Wigan on Saturday. After a dismal start to the season changes are needed. Dan Gardner will probably go straight in to the starting line-up after he has completed a three-match ban, carried over from last season. Tope Obadeyi did himself no harm with his performance at Walsall and could also start, possibly up front or on the left. New Belgian winger Gyamfi Kyeremeh could also get his chance as the Latics search for their first three points of the season.

Shez said, “I have to get a grip of the players and whatever team I pick, we roll our sleeves up and try to win the game - as we should at Walsall, with our first-half performance. We take the positives we can out of Walsall and we see where it leads us.”
