Cheltenham Town boss Martin Allen commented on his side's 1-1 draw with the Latics when he said, "I couldn't quite get my head around a lot of the things happening tonight. How their player (Mark Allott) wasn't sent off for a tackle on Andy Gallinagh I'll never know. That was a sending off without a shadow of a doubt. Four minutes of overtime? They scored in the sixth minute but what can you say?"

"The players are devasted in the changing room. I'm gutted for them and the supporters because it was a great night here. Sometimes I'm just lost for words. We can't train much recently because of the injuries. We've backed off, so I can't ask any more of the players. Overall you can see the players growing in confidence because they are getting a run now. The goalkeeper is stepping up, and I have massive faith in him. These players haven't given up. I don't want them to give up. I want them to have pride in their performances. I want them to keep going. I want them to wear the shirt with pride, remain competitive and play good football. We owe it to the supporters."
