Latics Captain Clarke was full of praise for goalkeeper Connor Ripley after he equalled the club record of 18 clean sheets previously set by former keeper Les Pogliacomi.
Clarke commented after the 0-0 draw at Wimbledon, “Today was all about us keeping the clean sheet and I’m delighted for the big man. He has been fantastic and it’s been a pleasure to play with him and he’s destined to go a long way in the game and play at the very top.”
