Boss Brian Talbot said today that Oldham had registered the player with the FA but have to wait until international clearance is given. If Clyde is given the all-clear Talbot says he could be in the 16 to face Wrexham tomorrow night.

Clyde rang
Brian last Thursday to ask if he could train with the squad on Friday. Talbot says he first saw the striker during a Leeds – Rusden FA Cup tie, and he looked “decent” in training this morning.

If Clyde is given clearance it will be a boost for Talbot, as Oldham lacked clinical finishing up front in their 2-1 loss to Luton
