Alex Ferguson has agreed to a loan extension for American striker Kenny Cooper. Cooper officially finished his stint at Athletic and scored two of the goals which defeated Port Vale on Saturday. Ronnie Moore told the official site in his post match interview that he would be enquiring if Cooper could stay longer as he would like to help him out with his game. The new deal extension will keep Cooper at Boundary Park for a further month and the striker will be available for the LDV Northern Final second leg at Wrexham tonight.

Ronnie Moore said, “Kenny likes it here and he’s someone we can work with. The lad’s only a baby but he took his goals well on Saturday. There’s a lot he needs to learn about movement, aggression and being more physical in the box, but I was a striker myself and I can improve him.”
