Corney in talks with Moore

Managing Director Simon Corney is still locked in talks about the future of Ronnie Moore and he declared, “We are heading in the right direction, though there’s still plenty to discuss. Ronnie would like some assurances about our planning for next season because he wants to make a serious challenge for promotion. That’s very important to him because he’s ambitious and wants to be managing in a higher division. Going for promotion is equally important to us, so I’ve told him we are determined to bring together a good squad of players.”
