Corney told the official website, "These are costs people don't know about, and I was quite astounded when I found out how much we've paid out over the last few years. The amounts involved are quite mind-boggling. We're shooting ourselves in the foot really. Fans know I operate an open-book policy, and I wanted to share this information with them as I realise that supporters are always interested in gaining an insight into the workings of the club."
