Corry turns his back

Goalkeeper Steve Corry has decided to turn his back on Brian Talbots offer of a three month contract and will instead take up a two year contract from Kettering Town of the Conference. Corry considers that the offer will provide more security as well as the bonus of being closer to his family base.

Athletic will start their pre-season training with Les Pogliacomi as their only professional goalkeeper. Talbot will now check the availability of other keepers and hopes to sign someone on loan from a higher division
