Moussa Dabo was hoping to make his comeback from injury in the reserve game at Preston last night but the game was called off due to a waterlogged ground. Dabo is overcoming a knee problem after moving from French side Racing Club Paris. After impressing in training, Latics boss John Sheridan offered Dabo a two year contract but he got injured during his first game on trial.
Sheridan said, “Moussa is a fair way off the first team at the moment and he'll have to prove himself with a few games in the reserves. It has been a long injury and there are plenty of midfield players ahead of him, so he must earn the right to get involved.”
