Striker Craig Davies has finally signed for Athletic after a lot of delays. The 21 year old has joined Athletic from Italian Serie B side Hellas Verona for an undisclosed fee. The transfer is subject to international clearance, which should be a formality, and the contract is for a two year period.Davies was born in Burton and he began his career at Oxford United but he spent last season on loan Wolverhampton Wanderers, for whom he performed well. He has also been capped three times by Wales and made his debut against Slovenia in 2005.
