First team coach Dean Holden, assisted by Adam Lockwood, has been put in temporary charge of first team affairs following the departure of Lee Johnson to Barnsley.

Holden said, "I'm delighted to accept the board's invitation to take charge of first team affairs for the foreseeable future. I'm also pleased to have Adam Lockwood assist me in my role as he is a well respected professional and can offer a good knowledge of the game. I am fully focused on getting a positive result from Saturday's game with Preston North End and will continue to prepare the squad for that game."

Neil Joy added, "Dean and Adam are ideally placed to lead the team into Saturday’s game with Preston North End and will provide the continuity needed in the coming period. After a difficult few days for the club we ask for all fans to continue to show their support for the club and to get behind the staff and players for what promises to be an exciting encounter."
