Di Matteo disappoined

Franchise FC manager Roberto Di Matteo was disappointed that his team did not take anything back from the clash at Boundary Park. Di Matteo commented on the official website, "It's been a very disappointing afternoon. We only started playing after conceding a silly goal so I'm not happy today. You need to score penalties when you're playing a team like Oldham away. If you can level the scores at 1-1 the game is back in your hands. We might have had another one with Sam Baldock but the referee said it was just outside the area, we can't complain because we had enough chances today to level the score."

"We need to get something out of these games because we created chances and we didn't take them. We need to start doing that and changing the mentality of reacting after we concede. We need to play from the kick off and take the game into our hands straight away. We opened up and put another striker on in the last 10 minutes so you can understand the second goal. It was a gamble but when you're 1-0 down and trying to create something up front to draw the game, you have to put an offensive player on. Dominating games is not enough for me, we need to change that mentality. I'm not happy with coming away thinking we had control of the game and getting nothing from it. We need to see the dominance reflected in the results."
