Dickov wants extra support

Former Manchester City striker Paul Dickov is urging Blues fans to adopt Oldham as their second team, starting with the clash against Plymouth. With City facing Wolves at Molinuex the same day, Dickov is appealing to fans in need of a `football fix' to head to Boundary Park and show some support to the team he now manages. Season-ticket holders are even being offered half-price tickets in an attempt to add to the attraction and Dickov told mcfc.co.uk: "I had a fantastic time at City and had a special bond with the fans during my time at the club. "It is difficult for clubs at this level to survive and we would appreciate the support of City fans. "I am sure they will be in for a pleasant surprise as we have a young and enthusiastic team and have been playing some good football."
