Diego Cervero has left Boundary Park as John Sheridan has decided not to offer him a permanent contract. Sheridan watched Diego in the reserve fixture against Blackpool at Fleetwood and although he scored the match winner and hit the bar, he obviously didn't do enough to sufficiently impress the Latics boss.
The Spanish window closes soon and the player's agent now needs to find the striker a club as soon as possible. Let's hope he doesn't come back to haunt us!
