Iain Dowie has revealed his new coaching team. Former youth team coach Tony Philliskirk (37) has been promoted to first team coach and will help Dowie with the senior team with most of his work being done on the training ground. David Cross will become assistant manager with extra responsibility for the reserves and will also take responsibility for administration and dealing with the media. Bill Urmson (62) makes a surprise return as youth team coach. Since taking a back seat after Ritchie's dismissal Urmson has worked part time at the School of Excellence.

Cross said, “I'm very pleased that Iain, in his few months at the club, thought enough of us to give us this opportunity. That gives you a boost and I'm very much looking forward to next season. Iain's big strength is his personality – his attitude and ability to handle players – so he'll want to focus on working with them. I'm also a coach first and foremost, but I can ease the burden a bit by dealing with things in the office.”
