Chairman admits he was a candidate
Brighton Chairman Dick Knight has admitted that Iain Dowie was interviewed for the Seagulls’ vacant managers post. The popular Athletic boss has also recently been linked with Reading, Stockport and Northampton. Mr. Knight said, “I interviewed Iain Dowie, Steve Cotterill, Leroy Rosenior and Mark McGhee. The other three chaps were all very impressive candidates, but I think Mark McGhee is right for this club at this time.”Dowie was interviewed for Seagull's job
