Dowie's thoughts on draw

Last updated : 14 September 2003 By Dave Moore
Iain Dowie had the following thoughts after the 1-1 draw with Bristol City, ā€œI thought that we deserved to win, the goal that they scored came very much against the run of play. I thought the lads came out of the traps well today, everything I asked them to do I thought they did. We had a very positive half time team talk because there could be no negativity. I thought the movement was bright and we caused them a lot of problems."

"The front two were bright and industrious and you know, I just said keep going in there, keep getting in there. Calvin Zola was very down with himself at half time but I thought he did okay. It's the least we deserved and at the end I thought we were coming on strong. Iā€™m not so unhappy with a point against a top class side.ā€
