Gates at Boundary Park are struggling as home attendances are down by almost 15%. Club officials are not commenting publicly on the issue, but privately they are worried about cash flow.

The first four games against Stockport, Swindon, Hartlepool and Carlisle attarcted only 19,429 opposed to last season attracted when the four openers brought in 22,773 fans. This equates to a £50,000 loss in income over the four matches which is a worrying fact for the club owners.
