Dudley moves to Scunthorpe

Striker Craig Dudley is set to leave Boundary Park. Dudley has failed to claim a regular place in the side all season, even before the arrival of Mick Wadsworth and has started just six games. Now, to give the striker much needed First Team football, Dudley will join Third Division Scunthorpe Utd on a month's loan in time for their game on Saturday at Shrewsbury.

Dudley has been signed as a replacement for Martin Carruthers, who needs knee surgery. With only Brian Quailey, Steve Torpey and youngster Mark Anderson to fill the two striking berths, Brian Laws's hand has been forced and Dudley has made the move to Glanford Park.
