Craig Dudley is considering a free transfer to Burton Albion after talking to boss Nigel Clough. The former England Youth international started only 34 league games in three seasons with Athletic and is expected to join Burton in a three-year deal. Albion have just gained promotion to the Conference and former team mate Ryan Sugden had a great loan spell there last year. Dudley has struggled with injuries since moving from Notts County. Meanwhile former defender Ben Futcher is back in league football after signing for third-division Lincoln City.
