The Rose Bowl game at Boundary Park has left Athletic with two injuries. Richie Wellens (pictured) limped out of the game with a hamstring injury and he may not be fit in time for next Saturday. The incident happened in the 56th minute of the game and he was immediately replaced by Chris Taylor. The other player to receive a knock was Chris Hall who had to retire with a damaged ankle, but it is not too serious and he should be fit to make the opening game at Tranmere.
