Former Latics skipper Lee Duxbury has joined John Sheridan's back room staff as Reserve Team Manager. The former Boundary Park favourite joined the Latics from Bradford City in 1997 for a transfer fee of £350,000. He went on to score 34 goals in 200+ appearances. After Athletic, Duxbury moved to neighbours Bury, then moved to Ireland before making his coaching debut at Farsley Celtic.
