The Latics are giving a trial to 19 year old Everton midfielder Steven Schumacher (pictured). Schumacher is a versatile player who is equally comfortable in midfield or in the back four and he has captained both England and Everton at under 19 level.He should make his debut for the Latics reserves at Wigan Athletic this afternoon. Also appearing in the rearranged game will be recent additions James Curley (Oldham Town) and Wes Wilkinson (Nantwich Town).
