Expensive costs required for next season

Next season sees the need to invest around £70,000 on essential work on the fields at Boundary Park and the three training pitches. Manager Ronnie Moore is rightly concerned as the finances will directly cut into the team building fund. All playing surfaces need to be up to standards before the start of pre-season training.

A further £150,000 is needed each season to pay for groundstaff, fertilisers, herbicides and other treatments. The current pitch was installed five years ago at a cost of £500,000 and current rate replacement could be as high as £700,000.
