Eyres frustrated by lack of first team action

David Eyres is frustrated by being left out of the first team action and has asked manager Ronnie Moore if he can go out on loan. At 41 years of age Eyres still has a lot to offer and came on for Luke Beckett in the 77th. minute of the clash against Southend but he had previously been an unused substitute in the last 10 games.

Eyres is still in great shape for his age and says that he is fit enough to play every week given the chance. Moore is reluctant to use Eyres as he does not fit into the current 3-4-3 formation but Eyres is still ambitious enough to realise that he could do a good job with a lower league team and has not ruled out the prospect of continuing to play next year.
