Eyres leaves his options open

David Eyres (pictured) has decided to delay his decision about going out to another club on loan. After agreeing terms with a League Two club, the 41 year old has decided to leave all his options open. Obviously dissappointed with the lack of first team opportunities at Boundary Park, Eyres has decided to postpone his move and could now remain at Athletic.

Eyres was an unused substitute at Nottingham Forest and is hoping for a recall to Athletic's team for the upcoming game against Gillingham. The popular midfielder will only leave on loan when he is convinced that he is no longer needed by Ronnie Moore.

Meanwhile, Adam Griffin has returned from his two month loan spell at Oxford United but is still available for loan or a permanent transfer away from the club.
