The Latics have been rewarded for their success at Everton with a home tie against Huddersfield Town in the fourth round of the FA Cup. Huddersfield are managed by former Latics cult hero and former boss at Andy Ritchie so the tie will be one to be relished by all as it has the ingredients for another classic encounter.

Manager John Sheridan is happy with the draw and said, "I think the plus side is that we're at home and playing a team we already know a lot about. I heard Andy on the radio this morning he said he wanted to avoid Oldham, but both sides will be feeling they can win and get through to the next round. Everyone's looking for big games against Premier League sides, but this is a tie I believe we can win. We're at home, and Huddersfield will be bring a big following. It'll be a good, close tie, but I'm confident we can get through."
