"Fergie couldn't do any better"

Ronnie Moore has hit back at the doubters and explained why the team are not performing as the fans expected when he said, “A manager should be judged when he has been playing his strongest team but that hasn’t happened all season. Sometimes that’s how football works and, in the circumstances we’ve had, I would like to see Alex Ferguson do a better job."

“Once we get all our big players fit, the team I put out will be as good as anything in this division. We would all like to be up there at the top, but it was always going to take time and I like to think we’ve still got every chance. The division is incredibly tight so a little run of two or three victories is all you need to change the picture. We are certainly capable of beating Bristol City, although it’s going to be hard because they’ve just had some decent results.”

It all sounds a little Talbotish to me!
