Jonathan Forte is rumoured to be on his way to Barnsley to team up again with former boss Lee Johnson. Forte, last season’s leading scorer with 15-goals, is under contract to the end of next season. After 11 goals in 13 games he only managed another 4 in 24 appearances last term as he suffered through knee and thigh injuries.
Darren Kelly remarked, “Because he is a quality player and until things change, he will continue to be part of the team.”
